My name is Tara Raines (the blonde girl on the right). I am 23-years-old, and I am everything you've ever heard about millennials.
- · I remember it being a very big deal in high school when I joined Facebook (September 13, 2005), mostly because I had to get a personal invite from a college student. Today, I total out at 3,240 photos and 1,197 friends.
- · I’m a college grad and will be paying off my student loans for another decade.
- · I’m unemployed and have been under-employed, more often than not.
- · I have my belly button and my ears pierced.
- · I use Twitter and Instagram daily. My mom follows me on both.
- · I talk to my parents constantly. Their basement is filled with athletic trophies from my childhood. In high school, my mom fought to keep me in AP classes after I’d been recommended for only “Gifted”.
- · I don’t participate in organized religion though I grew up very close to it.
- · I support gay marriage and bi-racial marriage whole-heartedly.
- · I've lived with my boyfriend for more than a year.
- · My biggest professional complaint, hands down, is not getting enough gratification from my boss.
- · I am constantly late but don’t see why anyone cares if my work gets done.
- · I’m optimistic and overly confident both in myself and in my career – so much so that I left my first real job without even an interview lined up.
Lastly, I’m self-centered and narcissistic enough to think that my life and this blog might be SO interesting/popular, that I could make real money doing it - just blabbing about the trials and tribulations of your average millennial.

Oh, and might I add: Just based on my first experience composing this post, Google needs to seriously step up its game with this whole Blogger thing... Why is the formatting so limited and complicated??? My Livejournal was easier to use and that was middle school.
